08 Sep The Michelle McGann Fund Announces Campership Grant to Camp Possibilities

The Michelle McGann Fund, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable organization supporting children and families affected by a type 1 diabetes diagnosis, today announced a Campership Grant to Camp Possibilities, a one-week overnight camp for children ages 8–17 living with type 1 diabetes, based in Port Deposit, Maryland.

The 2026 grant fully covered camperships for fifteen (15) children with type 1 diabetes to attend Camp Possibilities’ 2026 session. Fully staffed with licensed medical professionals, the camp gives children a week of traditional camp activities — swimming, fishing, arts and crafts, and more — alongside dedicated diabetes education and support, so campers can experience camp without feeling different from their peers.

“For a lot of these kids, camp is the one week where diabetes isn’t the thing that sets them apart,” said Michelle McGann, Founder of the Michelle McGann Fund. “We’re proud to help make sure more children get that experience at Camp Possibilities.”
