The Michelle McGann Fund Announced Campership Grant to Camp Sweet Life

The Michelle McGann Fund announced a 2025 campership grant awarded to Camp Sweet Life, a diabetes focused camp serving children and teens living with type 1 diabetes. The grant supported Camp Sweet Life’s summer 2025 programming and helped families access specialized care focused camp experiences.

Camp Sweet Life was sponsored by [Camp Sweet Life sponsoring organization] and provided programming centered on diabetes education, peer support, and fun in a medically supported environment.

“Camp Sweet Life gives children the chance to learn about diabetes while simply enjoying being kids,” said Michelle McGann, Founder of the Michelle McGann Fund. “That balance is incredibly important.”

The 2025 campership grant supported twelve (12) campers during summer 2025.

Drawing from her own experience managing diabetes while competing at the highest levels of sport, she founded The Michelle McGann Fund to support children and families facing a new diabetes diagnosis.
