The Michelle McGann Fund Announced Campership Grant to Diabetes Training Camp
The Michelle McGann Fund announced a 2025 campership grant awarded to Diabetes Training Camp, a nonprofit organization offering immersive camp experiences for individuals living with diabetes. The grant supported Diabetes Training Camp’s summer 2025 programming.
Diabetes Training Camp was sponsored by Diabetes Training Camp, a nonprofit organization that blends diabetes education with physical activity and community building.
“Diabetes Training Camp shows participants what is possible with the right education and support,” said Michelle McGann, Founder of the Michelle McGann Fund. “It encourages confidence and independence in a powerful way.”
The 2025 campership grant supported four (4) (family) campers during summer 2025.

The Michelle McGann Fund’s mission is to empower families with the support and education they need to ensure a healthy today and tomorrow for their child living with type 1 diabetes. The organization was founded by professional golfer Michelle McGann, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at thirteen years old.

Michelle McGann is an eight-time winner on the LPGA Tour and one of the most recognized figures in women’s professional golf. Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 13, Michelle has been a longtime advocate for diabetes research, education, and awareness. Drawing from her own experience managing diabetes while competing at the highest levels of sport, she founded The Michelle McGann Fund to support children and families facing a new diabetes diagnosis.
