Who We Help

The Michelle McGann Foundation receives donations and awards grants for furthering juvenile diabetes management in three areas: awareness, education and support. The mission of the Fund is to promote a healthy lifestyle now and in the future for individuals and families dealing with a new diabetes diagnosis.

We also support families and individuals who’ve already lived with juvenile diabetes for some time, but need to better their lifestyle, improve eating habits, receive alternative medication and/or treatment options, or benefit from support groups or programs.

The Michelle McGann Fund works with healthcare organizations and hospitals, nutrition programs, individuals needing financial assistance, lifestyle modification programs, human service agencies, and others across the country to facilitate proper treatment of the disease and offer resources for overcoming juvenile diabetes. We’re committed to providing organizations with assistance to further innovative diabetes awareness, education and support options.
