Deadlines & Procedures

The Michelle McGann Fund accepts applications three times a year for consideration.

Applications Due: August 15, 2017
Applicants Notified: October 15, 2017
Funding Starts: January 1, 2018
Evaluations Due: June 1 and December 1, 2017

Institutional and organizational applications should include:

  • Contact information
  • Date of project/program
  • Summary of project/program
  • Narrative of project/program
  • Goal of project/program
  • Significance of project/program
  • Methodology and timetable
  • Budget (amount requested and line item costs)
  • Other financial support individual/program receives

(Applications should not exceed 10 pages.)

Individual applications should include:

  • Contact information
  • Date of program/need
  • Summary of program/need
  • Significance of program/need
  • Budget/amount requested
  • Other financial support individual/program receives

Grant Assessment

The Michelle McGann Fund will evaluate applications based on:

  • The impact of the funding in the community (or for a family).
  • The significance for promoting healthier lives for children.
  • Project scope and feasibility.
